Maranah Custom Homes owner Marty Scott was born with a passion for the outdoors and loves to work with his hands. Marty was certified on autocad from Tampa Bay Tech. Just out of school, he joined the Army. After serving in the military, he moved to Raleigh where he began working as a framer. Marty started Clean Cut Builders LLC in 1998. It became a very successful framing and exterior trim company. In 2001 Marty received his North Carolina General Contractors License and started Maranah Custom Homes. He named the company after his 2 daughters Marina and Savanah.
Building a small number of homes per year allows Marty the time to pay special attention to every detail of each custom home. He goes the extra mile to make the building process enjoyable and smooth for every client. Since Marty is a "Hands on Builder" both his clients and sub-contractors have his undivided attention whenever they need it. Marty gives meticulous attention to detail, quality and craftsmanship that is readily apparent in every home that he builds. This is evidenced by the following accolades: GOLD in the 2007 Parade of Homes for the $1,065,000 category. For 2008, Marty won GOLD in the Parade of Homes for the $945,000 category and SILVER with 1 Perfect score for the $1,125,000 category. For such a young company to be so highly rewarded says much about the builder and the beautiful homes that he builds with pride. |
